If Kentucky had a 30 under 30, Quint Pottinger would be #1. No, that’s not a typo, there is actually another Quint out there and he happens to be the 28-year-old owner of Affinity Farms outside of Bardstown Kentucky. Nothing has come easy to this 8th generation farmer who started leasing land from his Aunt at the age of 15. Now one of Kentucky’s largest Soy and Corn farmers, Pottinger’s goods are shipped as far away as Columbia or may even be found in your next glass of Makers Mark. Take every image you have of the typical farmer and throw it out the window, this young-man is reinventing a craft that built this country and I’m proud to call him a friend. Don’t miss this week’s show!
